The Go programming language is coming to Google App Engine

The growing number of developers will soon have another platform Go: Go is the third language, after Python and Java, in which to write applications for Google App Engine. This is an exciting new experimental feature of the application engine and a major milestone for Go 

Go is an open source language, initially designed in Google, which was published in November 2009 and has seen significant growth since its launch.
